Bonjour,

CARBFIX A NEW TOOL FOR “FIGHT” THE CLIMATE CHANGE?

It’s not new but the CO2 participate a lot in the climate change, that is why the project “CarbFix” has been created in 2007. This project was test in the geothermal central of Hellisheidi in Island. This project has been created for convert the carbon dioxide in minerals. This project works in the following manner: They mix the carbon dioxide to the water and inject it deeply in the earth (in the basaltic rocks). With the time and the local conditions, the carbon dioxide turns into in minerals.
The results of this experiment show us that the transformation takes two years. But this project has a weakness, its cost a lot of water and lot of money 25 € per tons. But per years, we product 30 billion tons of CO2, so for convert all the CO2 in minerals we should pay 750 billion € per years. But like says the creators of “CarbFix”: “CarbFix is not the solution of the climate change but rather a tool for limit the increase of the temperatures to 2°C”.

Merci^^

CARBFIX A NEW TOOL TO “FIGHT” CLIMATE CHANGE?

It is not new but CO2 participates a lot in climate change, that is why the project “CarbFix” was created in 2007. This project was tested in the geothermal power plant of Hellisheidi in Iceland. This project has been created to convert the carbon dioxide into minerals. This project works in the following manner: they mix the carbon dioxide with the water and inject it deeply into the earth (in the basaltic rocks). With the time and the local conditions, the carbon dioxide turns into minerals [pas compris cette phrase].
The results of this experiment show us that the transformation takes two years. But this project has a weakness, its costs a lot of water and lot of money, 25 € per ton. But each year, we produce 30 billion tons of CO2, so to convert all the CO2 into minerals we should pay 750 billion € per year. But like the creators of “CarbFix” say: “CarbFix is not the solution to climate change but rather a tool to limit the increase of the temperatures to 2°C”.

J'ai essayé d'apporter quelques trucs :hap: Tu pioches si t'as envie.

CARBFIX A NEW TOOL TO “FIGHT” CLIMATE CHANGE?

Carbon dioxide is known to participate a lot in climate change. The project CarbFix was created in 2007 for this purpose. This project was tested in the geothermal plant of Hellisheidi in Iceland. It aims to convert carbon dioxide into minerals. It works as follow: carbon dioxide is mixed with water and injected deeply into the earth (in the basaltic rocks). Over time and depending on local conditions, carbon dioxide will turn into minerals.

The outcomes of this experiment show us that the transformation takes two years. However this project has a drawback, it costs a lot of water and a lot of money, 25 euros per ton. Given that 30 billion tons of CO2 are produced each year, we should pay 750 billion euros a year. As the creators of CarbFix say: "CarbFix is not the solution to global warming but rather a tool to limit the increase of the temperature to 2°C”.

Pour la fin, on peut même écrire :

As the creators of CarbFix say: "CarbFix is not the solution to global warming but rather a way to keep the global temperature rise below 2°C”.

It is not new but CO2

, that is why the project “CarbFix” has been created in 2007.

This project has been created for convert the carbon dioxide in minerals.

This project works in the following manner:

It works as follow: c'est plus court :ok:

They mix the carbon dioxide to the water and inject it deeply in the earth (in the basaltic rocks)

+ to mix something with something else

With the time and the local conditions, the carbon dioxide turns into in minerals.

The results of this experiment

But this project has a weakness, its cost a lot of water and lot of money 25 € per tons.

+ But ---> However = cependant
+ weakness ---> drawback = inconvénient
+ its cost ---> it costs le s ne sait pas se tenir :(
+ per tons ---> per ton on dit "299 792 458 mètres par seconde" en anglais pareil "299 792 458 metres per second", pas de "s" dans per [ unit ]

Beaucoup de but mine de rien :hap:
+ As the creators of CarbFix say: littéralement "comme le disent les créateurs de CarbFix:"
+ a solution to something
+ global warming = climate change un synonyme ! :fete:
+ for to limit
+ the temperature on peut laisser ça tel quel :oui:
