Denver Broncos tight end Daniel Graham was arrested Friday on a charge of harassing his former girlfriend, who said the player hit a bedpost after an argument about the sale of their home.
Graham was arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief and harassment and released on a personal recognizance bond, the Arapahoe County sheriff´s department said.
The woman told deputies Thursday that Graham damaged a bedpost after their argument Sunday, and he refused to leave.
Broncos spokesman Jim Saccomano said the team was aware of the arrest but had no comment. One of Graham´s agents, Jack Mills, also declined to comment.
Bonne nouvelle
LAWYER SAYS GRAHAM WON’T BE CHARGED
Posted by Michael David Smith on January 18, 2008, 8:43 a.m.
The attorney for Broncos tight end Daniel Graham says no charges will be filed after Graham was arrested last week on charges of suspicion of criminal mischief and harassment resulting from an incident at the home of his former girlfriend.
Un souci de moins quand meme
Encore meilleure nouvelle :
Heimerdinger s'est barré !!!!!!! YES !!
J'aime beaucoup cet article :
Rebuilding must start with D-line
We've got the next two weeks — it will just seem like two months — to compare the Patriots to the Giants. So what do you say we take a minute today and compare the Super Bowl combatants to the Broncos?
For all the differences between those teams and the Broncos, there's one that's more glaring than all the others. No, it isn't at quarterback or wide receiver or any other, quote, unquote, sexy position.
It's in the pits. Specifically, on the defensive line.
Look at the New England and New York defensive lines. Richard Seymour, one of the best D-linemen in the league. Michael Strahan, future Hall of Famer. Vince Wilfork, monster run stuffer. Osi Umenyiora, your basic monster coming off the corner.
It's no coincidence the Super Bowl teams have two of the three best D- lines — along with Jacksonville — in the league. In today's NFL, defense starts with pressure, and you can't apply it without a quality D-line.
You can't have enough quality defensive linemen in the NFL of the 21st century. That's why, assuming there will be one available and worth taking, the Broncos need to use the 12th pick in the first round on another D-lineman.
If not, they should draft a linebacker No. 1. But if they do, the kid had better be something special. Because, in the immortal words of every defensive back whose job depends on a pass rush, it starts up front.
GO BRONCOS
Go Chagers!!!!!!!!!!
blaireau.
pourvu qu'il revienne l'an prochain.
GO BRONCOS
y a 10 ans (-1 jour)... c'était beau hein !
GO BRONCOS
Travis Henry spent the first month of the offseason stewing about the past season and thinking of a way to make it up to the Broncos, who must decide whether to keep him or cut him. Henry made his choice clear Monday.
"I want to make it right to the Broncos, the fans and myself," he said. "I want to be a Bronco and make it all right. I don't want to be anywhere else. I owe those people something for all that happened last year. I want to clear my name there. I'm so hungry to do right there."
"Denver Broncos safety John Lynch said Monday he's still pondering retirement even as he prepares for his ninth trip to the Pro Bowl.
"The answer is that I haven't made that decision yet. I'm not being evasive or anything. It's just being true with you that I haven't come to that time," Lynch said."
