Well, it's just something you cannot predict, the story is based on feelings like weakness and vengeance. Humanity has locked herself in high walls trying to avoid contact with the titans. Some think that the base story is something that can be related with FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood (vengeance) or Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann ("Invaders" threaten humanity), well I can't deny it. The Anime has started 7 weeks ago and the story is already very developped, advanced, and surprising. This is only just beginning.
