House of the Dragon is set to arrive on our screens sometime in 2022, with filming due to start sometime this year, so there's still a while to wait before we get to see the Game of Thrones prequel series. Set around 300 years before the events of the original HBO series, House of the Dragon will tell the story of House Targaryen and the Targaryen civil war that became known as the 'Dance of the Dragons'.
